Rene Marie Russo, an American film director and actress who was a former supermodel is now a film director. Rene Marie Russo is a famous American actor, director and former supermodel. She is known for her beauty and elegance. Her longevity in a competitive and crowded industry showcases her talent and skills in the field of performance. In the 70s the model began her career. She quickly was one of the most prominent names in this field. In the early 1980s, she began taking classes in acting and theater before appearing on theater stage of Los Angeles. Russo first appeared on TV on ABCs Sable as Eden Kendell, in 1987. In the following year, she portrayed Tom Berengers lover in Major League. Invicta Fighting Championships signed her up and she later signed up for Ultimate Fighting Championships. Her success in and out of the Octagon has made her an international brand after she was a part of the UFC. Namajunas was born on June 29, 1992, in Milwaukee Wisconsin. He was brought up by a Lithuanian family. Rose played basketball and kickboxing throughout her growing to maturity. Rose made her debut professionally aged 18 for Invicta Fighting Championships in which she was able to win two bouts by submission. It caught the attention of Dana White who signed her to be a part of the UFC s strawweight division on December 14, 2014, when she was just twenty-two years of age. Rose has experienced highs & lows during her professional career. However, she's always won. Rose took on Carla Esparza at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale in April of 2015. The winner was given the Women's Strawweight Champion and also won"Fighter of the Night. This was the first time a woman competed against a major promotion in a title fight. Namajunas kept winning wins, including two wins over Joanna Jedrzejczyk that earned her Best Performance of the Night award from UFC.
